The customer can raise a ticket with an enquiry or an complaint. The ticket would be forwarded to the right department or customer relation representative with a timeline attached for acknowledgement and completion / closure of the ticket.
For some reason, the ticket is not closed within the estimated time, the ticket is escalated to the next in line manager to look into the issue and further to another level escalation as per hierarchy if the ticket open time exceed the 2nd level time of estimation.
